Konstantin Joachim is an artist.
Konstantin designs and creates worlds, images, objects, scenarios and spaces that are the fruit of his dreams. As they encounter and combine with matter, his dreams become tangible, living, enchanted realities. They are also an invitation to others to marvel along with him and to imagine a never-ending world of possibilities.
It is because of his cosmopolitan artistic roots—coloured by his time in both France and the Caucasus—and art forms as varied as architecture, fashion, opera, painting and sculpture that his creative journey knows no limits or bounds.
His original form of expression—drawing—has evolved into design, illustration, architecture and garden design. The lines of his drawings become playful and morph into other mediums, two dimensions easily becoming three or even more for those who really open their eyes and their hearts!
Konstantin is a composer, civil engineer, landscape designer and architect. The wide variety of his interests led him to Paris, where he emigrated in 2018. France has helped him to unlock his full potential.
Since 2014, three main subjects have formed the main body of Konstantin’s work: self-portraits, fashion sketches, and male portraits. Since 2020 he has been working on a series of self-portraits using religious imagery from different faiths. At the same time, Konstantin has been creating a series of comics inspired by the illustrations of from the 1920’s to 1940’s entitled Yves-Louis KONSTANTIN and Monsieur Destin.
